Wherever possible home grown vegetables and herbs will be used.

“My experience as a chef began in England at my parents restaurant in Shropshire. It continued over here also at my parents restaurant in San Agustin.

Both were named, rather originally, Bennett’s restaurant.

After 10 years in charge of the busy restaurant’s kitchen I took a time out to have my daughters and was lucky enough to spend their pre school years at home. I then started up a private chef and catering service called ‘Yummys Mallorca.”

That was 20 years ago now and it is a dream job.

I like to cook fresh, well balanced food with a luxurious feel, be it whatever style or nationality. Mallorca’s climate nurtures some wonderful produce for me to include in my cooking and I try to listen to the seasons and use ingredients at their best. I love the diversity of my work and meeting people from all over the world whilst cooking in beautiful surroundings.

Susi started working as a helper for me, a family collaborater! From a tender age learning our particular way of cooking for and serving the public in a friendly but respectful way.

The importance of the freshness of the ingredients and the gentle handling that we give to them without over working the natural goodness.

Susi grew in ability and confidence and began to add her ideas and individuality to our menus along with her beautiful presentation of each plate.

Susi has had her own clients for several years now and works independently as well as together with me, Caroline, Mum.
